HeadsUp multidisciplinary treatment teams address behavioral and mental health issues concurrently. Treating the whole person under one roof increases the quality of treatment and is essential for long-term recovery.
Our integrated model acknowledges the connection between post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental health concerns simultaneously. Our treatment team addresses trauma early on in treatment and we teach skills that relieve symptoms of PTSD because we believe that proper management of PTSD improves recovery.
Individual therapy can help people find the root cause of their mental health concerns.
One of the best ways to see support on your path to recovery is through group therapy where everyone is working toward the same goal in a safe place.
Helps discover a more positive attitude toward life by encouraging clients to think through their actions.

The goals of anger management Is to decrease the intensity and frequency of angry feelings and increase the ability to recognize and appropriately express angry feelings.
Veterans can even choose to alternate with how they choose to join from session to session. We believe that providing veterans with this flexibility fosters independence and a dramatically increases program compliance.
Recovery is a process of change. You work to improve health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and aim to reach your full potential. Veterans at our facility are encouraged to set personal goals and work to develop meaningful daily activities that support their independence. This may include financial planning, resume writing, submitting job applications, navigating public transportation and general housekeeping.
Each client works together with our treatment team to develop an aftercare program that works for them including participation in 12 Step and other community support groups, identifying strategies for managing symptoms and taking steps to restore family relationships. We also want to help each Veteran determine eligibility to receive benefits, which can include disability compensation, pension, education programs, housing and loan programs.
